Our first day in Italy began with a day trip to Verona. Although I lived in Milan for a year, I didn't have much chance to visit the neighbouring cities. Before the busy days of fashion week, we decided to spend some time in the beautiful village of Verona - a train journey is always a pleasure. Morning scene Cannot miss un caffé at a local bar. Bought a book at Stazione Centrale, there are many interesting shops at the station. The weather was hotter than I expected.I wore layers of tops, long wool socks and a pair of boots - which was too warm for the weather, but I could not take my socks off so I decided to stay cool. I love the landscapes in the smaller cities of Italy. After a long walk from the train station, we arrived at the Verona Arena. First thing we saw in Verona. I brought ALINA 80 to the trip. Super comfortable, and they go well with my skirt. Kyu has already been to Verona, he was very happy to come back. There are so many cool statues in Italian cities, I wish I knew all the stories. I don't know what that means, but. After visiting a store and taking walks along the village, Kyu found a lovely place for lunch. They served local dishes such as horse meat, and Kyu loved all of them. They didn't have vegetarian menus though, so I asked if they could serve me a small dish of vegetables - which they did, thankfully. It tasted wonderful. After coming back to Seoul, Kyu tried to find the name of Pinot Grigio we had there, but he couldn't.Eventually I called them up and asked what it was, and they were delighted by the fact I called all the way from Korea to find out the name of the wine because we couldn't forget. The Pinot Grigio My special vegetarian dish Horsemeat and ox tail for Kyu. After another walk without a destination, we arrived by the riverside.Adige river is running across the centre of Verona, and the view was spectacular. What is the story behind the castle? Serene. It was the first day wearing ALINA 80 and they served me well. Cannot skip gelato, frutti di bosco is always my favourite. We found stairs so we went up.We thought there must be something worth seeing at the top. And it turned out to be a wonderful choice. Olive trees and and ancient castle. The ankle straps are all hand-tied by me, it takes a half day. Best photos for ALINA 80 came from Verona. We came back to the piazza waiting for our train back to Milan.Although we didn't have any plans or major events, we loved this peaceful trip very much. A lion with wings. I love it. We did stop by Juliet's house, but I felt so bad that I didn't go near her. Why can't people just leave her alone? More adventures are to come!
