Everyone needs a certain amount of hope and fantasy, a miracle.

Maybe that is why people are so fascinated by flying creatures, such as birds.

The exquisitely designed flying machines.

Being an amateur ballet dancer, I always felt that every movement consisting ballet are human desire to fly.

From the phoenix on the wall paintings inside the ancient tombs, folk paintings, to the songs of nightingales broadcasted by BBC during the Second World War. I looked into the stories of birds and the anatomy of birds - to create our own version of the bird, “Ice Phoenix”.

A fierce warrior, yet with a tender heart.

Using primary colours of blue, red and white, we tried to portray the delicate beauties with hand-tied knots, PVC and the original heels.

Our story for the season is very light yet sophisticated. 

Most of the shoes are made with hand-tied knots, in various forms (Dorae, Lotus Flowers, Ginger ...).

Shades of natural silk fabric are sewn into patchworks, and the traditionally hand-woven ramie fabric is breathing along the pleasant breeze white gently hugging your feet. The fabric is directly sourced from a craftsman who has been producing the material everyday by hand and an analogue machine for more than six decades.

Bio-degradable vegan cactus leather is used to make a pair of simple pumps, with our original 8cm heel design.

The dreams and hope reflected on the images of birds, re-imagined through craft to be delivered to you.
