Champagne Bubbles

Let me tell you a little bit more about our Milan trip !

My favourite day was indeed, when we visited Duomo and had a glass of champagne watching the striking view outside of the window.

We also visited 10 Corso Como, one of my favourite spots in Milan.

I was not in a good mood that day in the morning, and my husband suggested that we go to the Duomo.
From what I remember, I used to go in and out of the cathedral freely, but this time we had to buy a ticket.
There were many different options - entrance only, going to the rooftop, etc.- and we decided to go inside the cathedral only.

I used to pass by this beautiful cathedral everyday, and attend masses on Sundays.
What a grateful time it was -
Every corner of the building is still making me feel humble.

Since we decided to go to Milan, the first thing I wanted to do was to bring my husband to a café where we can see Duomo closely.

The terrace bar was full, but we managed to have a glass of champagne inside.
The sunshine, the window view with Duomo and a gift shopping … everything was perfect.

I walked everywhere wearing MIA - my companion for the trip :)

Whenever my husband and I go on a travel, breakfast is a thing.
I am originally a huge breakfast eater, always having breakfast for an hour, but my husband especially enjoys eating breakfast in different cities.

In Milan, it was ‘un brioche al bar’, of course. I always needed two.
Con un caffè macchiato. And a bunch of fruit before going to the bar.

We found a local bar near our hotel, they served amazing coffee and brioche.
We loved the friendly and family-like staff there, too.

My husband often had a second breakfast, one of them was a panzerotto.

We bought a bag of fruit from one of the fruit stores in Brera, and walked down the street along Corso Garibaldi, to arrive at 10 Corso Como.
This time I was the happy one - although we did not stay inside the store for long.
I had a bite of an apple near the fountain right outside of 10 Corso Como.
Another perfectly happy moment that I remember.

Last time I went, I could not have a gelato at all.
When I go on a trip by myself, I become a harsh trainer pushing myself towards the next task to clear.

For this trip, I was with my husband, the gourmet-hunter that feeds me.
Above was my favourite gelato among all the others.

We were also blessed with a beautiful sunset & sunrise view of Navigli.

Finally, our favourite trattoria in Milan.
We celebrated the day before our show, and the second last day of the show there.
One visit was not enough!

It was a memorable trip, I think I will remember it for the rest of my life ;)
