Hello all, it’s Blog Pleiades.

It’s been few months since we started going through a dark time of pandemic.
Thankfully, our latest collection is full of bright colours, exotic fruit, flowers and sunshine.

This season, we released Spring Capsule Collection along with gouache drawings of each shoes.
For this collection, we’ve added many styles of flat shoes and mid-heels in bright, macaron colours.

Imagine slipping into those vanilla, pop orange and strawberry smoothie colours :)
Ballerina flats, Loafers, Open-toe slippers both in mid heels and kitten heels.

The whole journey started one sunny afternoon, when I was having an espresso macchiato in the backyard of my favourite bakery.
It’s on the same street where my studio is located, I always get brioche, rye bread and sablé for my family.

My boyfriend had a day-off working from home, so he came over during lunch break to have a brief coffee with me.
His home is just across the road from my studio :)

The golden sunshine dyed everything it kissed on, miraculously.

Then I suddenly connected the impression I had under the sunshine, with the pictures I took at my friend’s house party.
While everyone was enjoying their own time, I was lying on a sofa, flipping through art books his family has in the living room.
I particularly liked the book about Matisse, especially the paintings of his own daughter, Marguerite.

Sun-kissed flowers and the bright colours reminded me of the innocent young girl, being portrayed by her own father through loving eyes.

So the collection is really about this sweet girl, happiness and all the blessings we have but often forget about
- like the sunshine, flower blossoms and picnics on a whim.

I wanted to deliver the beautiful scene I witnessed that day in the backyard, through the image of Marguerite.

We have carefully selected beautiful colours and textures for the shoes,
including French sheepskin, enamel leather, calf and cow leather, skyblue denim and velvet.
