Wedding Day
On the 22nd of October, I had my wedding day.
We have been preparing for this day for a year, and when it finally happened, everything seemed surreal.
The sky was crystal clear, and the flowers looked stunning, in the middle of the green forest.
The band was tuning their sound, the endless tables were getting ready to welcome the guests.
As soon as I got out of the car, cameras started shuttering.
The sense of time felt so different before and during the ceremony.
And the swell of emotion, was rather an excitement about the new chapter that is about to begin, than being nervous.
I am going to walk down this road with my partner, and this is going to be much more real, and much more fun !

I chose KATRINA for my wedding shoes.
We have quite a few platform heels in white and ivory, but KATRINA was the shoes that I pictured in my head for my wedding styling.
I particularly like the unique shape the knots create, and the mood.

I was very happy with my dress, too.
It’s from Varca, a Chicago-based dress atelier. I discovered that silk dresses suit me better after several fittings, and I was looking for something different.
Varca’s dress was perfect for my vibe, my body and the style I was looking for - and it went really well with KATRINA ;)
For flowers, vintage orange, anthurium, roses and orchids were the theme.
I was very impressed by the ‘caramelised’ roses they created, with the burnt petals.
So many talented people worked hard for our wedding -

We found this beautiful venue accidentally, when we were not even talking about our marriage yet.
Everything happened so naturally, without us even noticing it.
We received flowers from Mr. President, we are very grateful for his kindness.
Some of my friends wore JULIANNE with their wedding dresses, and I thought it was a very good choice.
